Bjelica is originally a Serbian and Montenegrin surname. It originates from Old Montenegro's region/clan of Bjelice or The Bjelicas ("Bjelice" being the plural form of "Bjelica" in Serbian). It is nowadays most common in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
