Jaanu is a 2012 Kannada action-romance film directed by Preetham Gubbi and produced by Jayanna combines. Yash and Deepa Sannidhi are the lead actors while Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Shobaraj among others play the supporting roles. V. Harikrishna is the score and soundtrack composer.[2] The film released across Karnataka state on 1st June 2012.[3]
Production
Development
Following the debacle of Haage Summane and success of Johny Mera Naam Preethi Mera Kaam, Preetham Gubbi teamed up yet again with the Jayanna combines banner. Jayanna and Bogendra were producers for his earlier films too.
Filming
The film Jaanu is shot at Sakleshpur, Gulbarga, Bidar and Bengaluru The talkie portions completed shoot also completed the dubbing at Aakash Recording Studio.
Casting
Deepa Sannidhi, a much sought after actress with two hits in the last year - Saarathi and Paramathma is in her third film with Yash. Rangayana Raghu, Shobaraj, Sangeetha, Madhu, Sadhu Kokila, Layendra are also in the supporting cast.
