The YouTube channel CGPGrey is a one-man YouTube channel featuring short educational videos. The channel's first popular video was an explanation of the terminology of the British Isles, which went viral.[1]

Videos

The channel provides a series of educational videos on a range of subjects, including politics and economics. His video debunking popular misconceptions has been featured on CBS.[2] Two videos differentiate London, England and the City of London, while explaining certain oddities that arise from the ancient customs of the latter.[3][4] Another two videos explaining copyright law and The Electoral College have been featured on Mashable.[5][6] The channel has also explained the economic disadvantages of pennies, in another viral video, Death to Pennies.[7][8] The video How to Become Pope also became viral.[9][10]
