In accordance with the Constitution of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, the Central President Md. Delawar Hossain shall act as the President of the Executive Council for the session of 2013 and the Secretary-General Muhammad Abdul Zabbar shall be, ex-officio, a Member thereof. Besides, as many as 37 Members have been elected to the Executive Council for the session of 2013 through direct votes of all the Members of the Organization. Furthermore, the Central President in consultation with the Executive Council nominated 6 more as Members of the Executive Council. Later on, 2 more have been nominated as Executive Council Members during 2nd General Session of the Executive Council. Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir is an organisation that has presence in colleges and universities in Bangladesh. It is a member of the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth. The ICS has been involved in some social works in Bangladesh such as the Blood Donation Campaign.

Aims & Objects

The aim and objective of this organization is to seek the pleasure of Allah by molding entire human life in accordance with the code prescribed by Allah and exemplified by the Islamic prophet Muhammad

Programmes

5-Point Agenda

With a view to establishing “DEEN” and with an aim to attain the pleasure of Allah, Chhatrashibir framed 5-point agenda. All the activities of Chhatrashibir are being launched in light of this agenda. The agenda is as follows: (1) “Dawah” (Call to Allah)- To convey the message of Islam to the students, to inspire them to acquire Islamic knowledge and to arouse in them the sense of responsibility to practise Islam in full.(2) Organization- To organize the students who are ready to partake in the struggle for establishing Islamic way of life within the fold of this organization.(3) Training- To take appropriate steps to impart Islamic knowledge among the students integrated under this organization to make them men of character, capable of braving the challenges of Jahilyah and thus to prove the superiority of Islam.(4) Islamic Education Movement and Student-oriented Problems- To struggle for changing the existing system of education on the basis of Islamic values to build up ideal citizens and enhance leadership to solve real problems of the students.(5) Establishing Islamic Social Order- To strive tooth and nail to establish Islamic social order for freeing humanity from all forms of economic exploitation, political oppression and cultural servitude.
