In March 2010, the group joined two other string quartets to work alongside the [[Kronos Quartet]] and Pipa virtuoso [[Wu Man]] at the Weill Music Institute in [[Carnegie Hall]]. During the institute, the Annex worked closely with members of the Kronos Quartet performing music written for Kronos by composers [[Osvaldo Golijov]], [[Franghiz Ali-Zadeh]], and [[Terry Riley]]. On March 21, 2010, The Annex Quartet made their Carnegie debut performing works from the Kronos Quartet's repertoire list.
