Rotary View - (also referred to as "360º view," "3D view", "Object Movie", "product spin" or "RotaryView") refers to a photographic technique by which a series of photos are taken of an object that rotates one full revolution. Increasing the number of photos will naturally improve the smoothness of the rotation. For commercial purposes, 20 to 30 frames per rotation is a common standard, however the number of photos per rotation is increasing with advancements in technology. Software is used to display the individual photos in a sequential slideshow. This causes the visual appearance of a fluidly rotating object.
