American bands

I'm sure someone would correct me if necessary, but as I understand it this is an article about London. However, the majority of the texts refers to American High School Bands. I suggest either those parts toned down or moved to a separate article. Bee (talk) 14:23, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The event happens in London, but almost half the participants are from the USA (something like 4000 out of 8500 in 2013 AFAICR from the commentary) --Rjmunro (talk) 09:46, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

1920s?

The article's first paragraph says: "The first year the parade took place was 1987" which I believe to be correct. The "Organisation" section says "The parade dates back to the 1920s to celebrate the special relationship between Britain and the USA."
