What is the real starting price of NST on release? $139? $100? It surely wasn't US$100039, as stated in the article. :Good catch. That was some vandalism from a month ago. I have reverted it, so the correct price was $139. [[User:Mabeenot|–Mabeenot]] ([[User talk:Mabeenot|talk]]) 21:19, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

== Imperial units ==

Why are the weight & dimensions still in imperial units? Should at least offer the metric ones as well.

Does anybody know the Nook model in the picture

The really affable salesperson, Mike Blum, visited while I was having coffee in the coffee shop in Barnes & Noble in New Jersey and he withstood my teasing with good-natured reverse banter. I said: hey, I heard there was a promotion -- buy one Nook, get one free -- and without missing a beat, he said, Hey, I'll throw in a FREE TOTE BAG when you buy your Nook. He learned I was a handyman and he passed my business card to the lady at the next table. And he demonstrated the Nook, how to get a scheduler-app (which hey maybe I could use, being a paper-and-pen type of guy) and we even looked at my soon-to-be-deleted Google "knol" article. Long story short: Blum's a good guy and I hope we can keep his photo in here (just so the next time I'm in there, I can kid him about it). And it went back and forth like this in a spirit of fun. Does anybody know which model Nook it is? If so please update the caption, thanx.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 00:25, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Was Nook Simple Touch really US$100,039 when it was released?
