Anglo-Saxon settlement of Britain
Hi,

I feel that we both want much the same thing to happen in regard to bringing this article into the 21st century, and making it a more coherent expression of current theories. However, from much past experience, some of it painful, making edits without attempting to reach some sort of consensus with other editors interested in the article often just ends in reversions and futile edit wars. It is usually far more advantageous to 'box clever', than to unilaterally make sweeping edits, however correct you think the edits are. Urselius (talk) 15:56, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

:Do you think you could leave some edit summaries to explain what you are doing? Most of your edits are self-explanatory, but this one, for instance, isn't, and some sort of explanation would be helpful. Thanks. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:45, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi -- History of England could use your attention. It's section on the Anglo-Saxon invasion links to Sub-Roman Britain but it should obviously link to the article on the Anglo-Saxon invasion and reflect that article in line with our guidance at WP:SUMMARY. It would be great if you could do this. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 09:22, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Anglo-Saxons, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Classical (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
