Greg also gets a Ladybug, a cell phone that can only make emergency calls and home calls. Greg, Roderick, and his mom go to the local pet store . Greg gets a angle fish but Rodrick, on the other hand, gets a pet [[pirahna]] which he doesn't feed . After a trip to the waterpark, Greg finds that the piranha ate his angelfish while they were gone, upsetting Greg .The Heffleys get a new dog, Sweetie, which causes significant problems for Greg's summer. Greg is afraid that his dad is going to sell him to an orphanage, and he uses his Ladybug. After a long talk with the police, Frank gives the cops the tickets for a baseball game, and it turns out that Frank was giving Sweetie to Gramma. After losing a "video game tournament" Greg is upset, but sees pictures of the summer mom took and rethinks his summer. Perhaps all he need was
