Eventually I will start the article on the actual Brigg Fair (not sure when I have to admit). Should I move this article then to "Brigg Fair (folk song)" or can anyone suggest a better title? :Brigg Fair (song) would be fine. If you followed the rule about "what the customer is most likely to be looking for when they type the name", you might decide that is the folk song and the fair should be Brigg Fair (fair), but that would be too — weird. Remember you also win the task of snapping the redirects (all four of them). David Brooks 03:04, 16 August 2006 (UTC) |

::Yes, I see your point. In all honesty I only found out about Brigg Fair when I moved to Hibaldstow, a nearby village, two and a half years ago. I did not know of the song till I visited this article but I'm not a normal customer as I was born abroad ;-) <font color="green">E </font><font color="Blue">Asterion</font> <small><font color="Green">u talking to me?</font></small> 23:12, 16 August 2006 (UTC) |

:Agree. The actual Brigg Fair deserves an article as its history goes back to around the 13th century and it was the inspiration for the folk song which, in turn, led to Delius' and Grainger's works. |

Actual Brigg Fair
Eventually I will start the article on the actual Brigg Fair (not sure when I have to admit). Should I move this article then to "Brigg Fair (folk song)" or can anyone suggest a better title? Thanks, E Asterion u talking to me? 20:37, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Brigg Fair (song) would be fine. If you followed the rule about "what the customer is most likely to be looking for when they type the name", you might decide that is the folk song and the fair should be Brigg Fair (fair), but that would be too — weird. Remember you also win the task of snapping the redirects (all four of them). David Brooks 03:04, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I see your point. In all honesty I only found out about Brigg Fair when I moved to Hibaldstow, a nearby village, two and a half years ago. I did not know of the song till I visited this article but I'm not a normal customer as I was born abroad ;-) E Asterion u talking to me? 23:12, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- Agree. The actual Brigg Fair deserves an article as its history goes back to around the 13th century and it was the inspiration for the folk song which, in turn, led to Delius' and Grainger's works.
