"All Nite (Don't Stop)" is the third single from Janet Jackson's eighth studio album Damita Jo. Released in 2004, the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis produced track contains a sample of Herbie Hancock's "Hang Up Your Hang Ups". It was also the lead double A-side with I Want You, which appeared on some international releases of the single and contains the Damita Jo Japan bonus track "Put Your Hands On". The song "R&B Junkie" can be found on a promo vinyl single of "All Nite (Don't Stop)". Listen to a sample

Music Video

The video was directed by Francis Lawrence (Someone to Call My Lover). It takes place in an abandoned building during a blackout. Dancers are seen lounging. One dancer finds a battery and hooks it up to large stereo system and the music starts. Janet is laying on a table and speaks, "Attention, it's time to dance". Janet and dancers do choreography until power is restored, lighting a sign saying, "Damita Jo".

Charts

The song peaked at #119 on the Billboard Hot 100 (#19 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart). This was a major disappointment and Jackson's first single to miss the Billboard Hot 100 since pre- Control albums. The song missed the top thirty in Australia, Japan, and most european countries. It was a top twenty hit in the U.K.
