'Nadaniyaan – Teen Nadaanon ki Kahaani' is a Hindi language sitcom presented by BIG Magic and produced by Dheeraj Kumar. It stars Jay Pathak, Gunn Kansara & Gaurav Sharma in leads. This show is a remake of Pakistani sitcom Nadaaniyaan.

Premise

Story revolves around a small family of 3 people based in Delhi. Jay Pathak (previously Iqbal Azad) essays the charcater of Naman Verma (Nandu), Gunn Kansara (earlier replaced by Neetha Shetty) essays the character of Naman’s wife Chandani and Gaurav Sharma essays the character of Naman’s brother Pushkar Verma (Pappu) in the show. With a self-proclaimed writer, a push-over wife and an clumsy younger brother, one can expect nothing but a laugh riot from this family.

Cast

  • Jay Pathak (previously Iqbal Azad) as Naman Verma "Nandu"

Nandu is a television writer and a full-time house husband who loves his wife Chandni and his younger brother Pushkar. Always lazy all the time and being mocked by his wife upon his unemployment.

  • Gunn Kansara (earlier replaced by Neetha Shetty) as Chandni Verma "Chandu" [1]

The head of Verma clan and an employeed office woman who handles her husband and brother-in-law. She always scolds Nandu & Pappu for their lazy attitude.

  • Gaurav Sharma as Pushkar Verma "Pappu"

Last but not the least the youngest member of Verma clan. Pappu loves to flirt with girls & show off his sister-in-law's wealth by wearing stylish non-branded attires

  • Bhagwan Uncle

A troublesome neighbour who is always seen wandering in Nandu's lawn. Having a chat with him is like intentionally going for a suicide - as felt by Pappu. Like Pappu, he likes to flirt with girls much younger than him.

Late father of Nandu and Pappu, Alok Nath could be seen portrayed on the wall of the drawing room in the role of sanskari "Babuji". Used by Pappu for emotionally blackmailing Nandu. This comic punch is used in wake of Alok Nath's jokes that showed Nath as a "Sanskaari Babuji".[2] . Nath will be seen in a comic role[3]

Aaj Ki Nadaniyaan Segment

This segment is presented on each episode's beginning and at the end of the show too. This segment highlights the satire about loopholes in the Indian system in a funny manner. Although, it mostly highlights the topics such as Bribery, Divorce, Adulteration of foods, Politics and much more and ways to tackle the problems in a joyful manner. At present, this segment is pulled off due to Gunn Kansara's earlier replacement by Neetha Shetty.
