Plastic is a British action comedy-crime film directed by Julian Gilbey and co-written with Will Gilbey and Chris Howard. The film stars Ed Speleers, Will Poulter, Alfie Allen, Sebastian de Souza and Emma Rigby.

Overview

The film follows the fortunes of the young group of students when they fall foul of a sadistic crime boss. They are given two weeks to raise £20 million – otherwise they must face the consequences. Using a series of smart cons, the guys fly off to Miami and target Florida’s big spenders and their credit cards. But as greed and jealousy threaten the friends, they need one last heist before their past catches up with them...

On 6 December 2012 Ed Speleers, Will Poulter and Alfie Allen set to star in the thriller film based on a true story of a diamond heist, will be directed by Julian Gilbey and written by Chris Howard, Julian Gilbey and Will Gilbey.[1]

Filming

On 10 December 2012 Gateway Films announced the start of principal photography of the film which will be filmed in different international locations include Brunei, London, Manchester and Miami.[2]
