I understand that this spelling of "role" is still considered acceptable usage, but it seems like an unnecessary and distracting archaism in this article. As Wikipedia is written for a general audience, and especially as this article concerns a rather technical topic (readers may be confused and assume it's some linguistics term) it would make sense to move it. --129.11.12.201 (talk) 20:31, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

This article is very badly written. It consists only of terribly organized quotations, organized in such a way that it looks like word salad. I can't even tell what is being said! 76.18.160.47 (talk) 22:20, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
