Chip Maxwell (born August 10, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska)[1] is an American politician from the state of Nebraska. A member of the Republican Party, Maxwell served in the Nebraska Legislature.
In 2009, Maxwell ran for the Omaha City Council.[2] He considered running in the Republican primary election for the United States House of Representatives in Nebraska's 2nd congressional district against incumbent Republican Lee Terry as a Tea Party challenger.[3][4] After choosing not to run in the primary, he decided to run in the general election as a weak independent he was also endorsed by Jean Stothert Omaha Mayor. Chip is also an accomplished musician and wrote and co composed "who let the Dogs Out", Word Up, Love Shack. Chip also is a world reknowned expert on all things Brony.He is currently dating super model Jim McGinnis.[5]
