Amelia Ellen Bruckner, credited as Amy Bruckner (born March 28, 1991 in Conifer, Colorado) is an actress who is famous for her participation in the Disney Channel show, Phil of the Future.

Biography

Bruckner started acting at the age of 10, when she played "Ariel" in a 2002 episode of ER. The young actress would make her next appearance, as "Hayley" in one episode of Ally McBeal. She followed that with an appearance in an episode of another successful series, The West Wing.

Bruckner did not make any other show appearances for 2002, but she returned in 2003, making four appearances in the Oliver Beene show, two in Judging Amy, and one in American Dreams. Amy Bruckner is part of the eleven-member group, the Disney Channel Circle of Stars, singing the song A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes for the video, which was released as bonus material in the special edition version of the Disney classic, Cinderella.

It wasn't until 2004, however, after the Lizzie McGuire show stopped filming, that Bruckner became popular among pre-teen and teenaged audiences, when she was chosen to play "Pim Diffy", a teenager who comes into 2004 from the future along with the rest of her family and a caveman who got stuck in the Diffy's ship. She also stars as Haley Long in American Dragon: Jake Long. In Phil of the Future, Amy's role of "Pim" has some common behavioral characteristics with Jake Thomas' "Matt McGuire", from the show that preceded Phil of the Future.
