''Lovesexy (1988) is widely considered among fans to be one of Prince's best works. Combining funk, R&B and rock in a way seldom done before, Prince reached what may well be his artisic peak. ''

This is simply false; it's quite clearly not one of his most well-regarded albums critically. It was a commercial disappointment and is a relatively minor entry into his catalog in terms of pure popularity. This sentence seems to me to be an attempt by some obsessed fan to exaggerate the album's popularity, which is self-evidently silly.

Trivia

US CD copies of Lovesexy have the entire album in sequence as a single track, so the listener is forced to hear the whole album in the context of a continuous sequence. European pressings and US promo copies are tracked, and contrary to popular belief are not rare.
