:::I will leave a note on your talk page about this, have a break, and contact Dennis Brown about returning based on the commitments I am setting myself to achieve. Should he believe that I am able to edit, I will support him having me on probation to observe my editing behaviour. If I clearly fail to uphold my commitments here, I will support you or any other user reporting this to Dennis Brown to have me blocked again.--[[Special:Contributions/50.101.209.197|50.101.209.197]] ([[User talk:50.101.209.197#top|talk]]) 03:12, 28 November 2014 (UTC)

Previous editing

I noticed that you appear to be familiar with Wikipedia and you remind me of another editor who was from London, Ontario. Did you previously use an account for editing? TFD (talk) 05:44, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I am that user. In the recent past I have had serious health problems that resulted in very inappropriate conduct with you and others in the past. However I have hoped to make a Wikipedia:Clean start. I have sought to overcome those health problems. I am responsible for those inappropriate behaviours that were the result of stubborness and self-assurance that I was right, I did not take into account others' perspectives. Now I am focused on seeking out reliable sources for all major perspectives on topics, including ones that I may not personally agree with but are nonetheless major perspectives that need to be acknowledged. If you believe that I should cease editing based on my previous behaviour that you still see being exhibited today, I will do so.--50.101.209.197 (talk) 06:37, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for replying so candidly. While I know very little about you, I realize that what you have been through must be extremely painful.
You need to contact Dennis Brown, who is the administrator who can make this decision. If you click on "Email this user" on his main page, you can explain your position to him. In the meantime, you are not supposed to use IPs.
I did not see any previous behavior exhibited today, but your writing style was similar.

Thank you for your courtesy given my inappropriate behaviour towards you in the past affected by my health problems but where I was ultimately responsible but failed to uphold my responsibility. I will contact Dennis Brown, whom I asked for a self-block in the past, to see if he believes I am able to start new account and uphold Wikipedia's policies. On that account I will voluntarily acknowledge that I have health problems that can affect my behaviour and that should my behaviour become inappropriate, for anyone concerned to inform me of this. I don't know if you are saying that you want me to change my writing style because it may be obstructive or confusing; if so I could attempt to revise my writing style. In the meantime what I will set here are the personal ground rules that I will abide by to insure that past mistakes are not repeated.
(1) Abstaining from editing should such health problems afflict my editing abilities, and especially if users claim that my behaviour is not proper. That will involve a total break and turning to other activities.
(2) I will engage in a thorough re-reading of Wikipedia policies so that I am aware and up-to-date on them.
(2) A focus on addressing all major perspectives on topics involving article content, not merely pet perspectives that I may believe in.
(3) Should my behaviour become erratic and inappropriate to the point where I will require an enforced blocking from editing due to any compulsion to edit, I will personally seek a self-block by an administrator.
I will leave a note on your talk page about this, have a break, and contact Dennis Brown about returning based on the commitments I am setting myself to achieve. Should he believe that I am able to edit, I will support him having me on probation to observe my editing behaviour. If I clearly fail to uphold my commitments here, I will support you or any other user reporting this to Dennis Brown to have me blocked again.--50.101.209.197 (talk) 03:12, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
