The Joy of Motion is the third album by instrumental progressive metal group Animals as Leaders. It was released on March 24, 2014 in Europe, March 25, 2014 in North America and on March 28, 2014 in Australia and New Zealand by Sumerian Records.[6]

Around 13,000 copies of The Joy of Motion were bought in the United States during its first week of release. It debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 chart.[7]
