David Zennie is an American, Los Angeles based award-winning filmmaker who has been actively working on producing and directing music videos, advertisements and movies. David has produced and directed over 70 professional productions working on various formats such as 35mm, ARRI ALEXA, and the RED Epic. He is acclaimed to be one of the youngest visionary directors in the industry. He has worked on productions worldwide including the countries like United States, India, Egypt, Sudan, China, UK, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. Currently David is developing his first feature film to be shot on location in India.
Early career
David directed his first commercial for the Wrigley's Chewing Gum at the age of 14. Studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design, David has provided his directorial expertise in the areas of television commercial, music video, and corporate film production.

David has worked with several leading companies and organizations including international brands such as Ford, Mountain Dew, Chrysler, Lays and Braun. David has worked for the artists across the globe for different products which has been proven to be one of the best works. David has directed music videos for many regional and international artists accumulating over 100 million YouTube views for videos featuring Akshay Kumar (India), Kardinal Offishall (Canada), Sandy (Egypt), Karl Wolf (Canada), Foreign Beggars (UK), Joe Ashkar (Lebanon), Imran Khan (UK) and Yo Yo Honey Singh (India) to name a few.
Work In Middle East
He pioneered a new vision into the Middle East’s entertainment industry, directing many of the regions first Hip Hop music videos dating back to 2008 with several of them topping #1 on MTV Arabia’s International Express Chart. Having crossed over into Arabic music videos David won the award for “Best Director” and “Best Video” at the 2012 Middle East Music Awards and received his 3rd Murex D’or nomination for best Arabic Music Video of the Year for TA3EE by Lebanese singer Joe Ashkar. David was nominated twice previously for the Joseph Attieh music videos Taeb Al Shawk and Mawhoum. The MTV India Award Winning music video Brown Rang by Punjabi singer Yo Yo Honey Singh was also ranked the #1 trending YouTube video in India for 2012 beating out Gangnam Style. Recently David’s work with Imran Khan for the music video Satisfya was nominated for "Best Music Video" at the 2013 BritAsia Awards. David owns a Film Production and Online Marketing Company in U.A.E called Mirror Image Pictures
