Kristel Heather Harder (born August 1,1983) is a Canadian classical singer, songwritter and actress.

Early life

Harder was born in Alberta, Canada and graduated from the Theatre Arts Program at Mac Ewan University in Alberta. After spending a number of years as a classical singer, teacher and professional chorister.

Career

Harder's career include Morticia Addams in Addams Family music comedy at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland , Lizzie in The Girl Who, Desiree in A little Night Music, The Adult Women in Spring Awakening and the Baker's wife in Into the Woods. Her Opera experience includes Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro and Zita in Gianni Schicchi. Since her graduation in April of 2013, she has appeared in her first film "Everything is Perfect", Full Monty and Spearsical: The Musical 2 . Kristel has frequently worked as a recording artist doing solo projects as well as BGs and backtrack recordings and has been featured on a number of new work recordings in Canada. She has sang with Ben Folds, Ruben Studdard, Olympian Figure Skater Jamie Salé , Edmonton Oiler Craig Simpson and was awarded nine medals in singing and acting in the The World Championship of Performing Arts in 2010.
