The shooting of Tony Robinson occurred on March 6, 2015, in Madison, Wisconsin. Robinson, a 19-year-old black man, was fatally shot by Matt Kenny, 45, a white Madison police officer.[1] The disputed circumstances of the shooting and the resultant protests received considerable attention in the U.S., and continued a vigorous debate about law enforcement's relationship with African-Americans, and police use of force doctrine in Wisconsin and nationwide.
