Dr. Seyed Ali Mirlohi Falavarjani [1] is an Iranian professor of Arabic literature and retired professor from University of Isfahan. he was born on 1942 in the city of Falavarjan, Isfahan province, Iran. He is the founder [2] of the Islamic Azad University of Falavarjan, Isfahan[3] and was its president from 1985 to 1992. Falavarjan Azad University Branch, now with more than 4,000 students with more than 10 fields of study has been active and due to the high number of female students at the University, it is the first all female School of Isfahan Province. Early Education: He did his elementary education in Minoo elementary until 1952 and then to seminary school of Fiqh level with masters such as Ayatollah Sheikh Hassan Emami and then went to Qom seminary and participated in Ayatollah Hossein_Kazemeyni_Boroujerdi classes.

Higher Education:[6] Dr. Mirlohi earned his diploma in 1964 and entered to Tehran University in the Faculty of Theology.

Academic

  • From 1974 to 1978 he was assistant professor at the University of Mashhad, from 1979 to 2010, assistant, associate, and full professor of the university of Isfahan and was retired in 2010.
  • Dr. Seyed Ali Mirlohi has been awarded Iran's yearly best professor recognition by Dr Mostafa Moeen the Iran minister of higher education in 2005 for his research excelence, teaching experience and contribution to Arabic Literature.
  • Dr. Seyed Ali Mirlohi sat on the Isfahan university high chair for academic excellence committee for Isfahan University professors for more than 15 years to evaluate their academic achievement.

Research fields:

-rhetoric, rhetoric, especially the Holy Quran and Arabic grammar and syntax, especially the Holy Quran and prose interpretation and dissemination of literature and politics

-Dr Seyed Ali Mirlohi is curently editor in chif for "RESEARCH IN ARABIC LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE" Magazine-Semi Annually published by University of Isfahan.[7]
