Revision as of 05:52, 3 April 2015

Answer.

Main event winner gets huge pop, cheered onto Today Show. Certain little men can beat certain big men at WrestleMania. Bryan was clearly better off curtain-jerking, though. Finally, the Intercontinental Title has come back to a pro wrestler.

You can be 100% sure and still wrong. Happens to the best of us, though!

Instead of football like XI, we got MMA crossover. I assume the pop and the common enemy answers your question about whether Rousey is cool. Carlito wouldn't spit in her face.

Who should WWE book to beat Lesnar? Nobody, probably. Where are Rowan and Harper now? Harper had a nice spot tonight. I missed the pre-show, Rowan might have been visible.

I think that about answers everything from my talk page. WWE didn't screw up, and wrestling is awesome again, at least for a while. Yay! InedibleHulk (talk) 03:49, March 30, 2015 (UTC)

And yay Rowan! He did show up. InedibleHulk (talk) 03:51, March 30, 2015 (UTC)
  • @InedibleHulk: - I still would have preferred Lesnar retaining, but Reigns not winning was a huge relief. I think WWE screwed up on Mizdow though - for an intellectual savior, he wasn't very smart, and his character wasn't consistent in other ways as well IMO. Rowan - jobs to Big Show ... again. Harper? Haven't seen him yet. But at the end of the day, WWE didn't get their main event wrong. starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 11:50, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think we can call him Sandow again. At least, that'd make sense. I didn't see the match, but think Show made sense. About time a giant wins the sort of match commentators pretend giants are good at. Sandow has a bright future, with or without it.
Harper was actually more important than I'd realized at first. By killing Ambrose, who swore he'd stop Rollins from cashing, he made a main event assist. Not sure if Ambrose is legit hurt, but it looked painful. Also smashed Stardust, which really accomplished nothing, but looked nice.
Definitely one of the best WrestleManias, in my book. InedibleHulk (talk) 13:43, March 30, 2015 (UTC)
I tried to not spoil much. Didn't say how he killed them. InedibleHulk (talk) 13:53, March 30, 2015 (UTC)
  • @InedibleHulk: Think you were fooled by JBL's bad commentary. Harper only killed Ambrose. It was Barrett that took out Stardust twice. Illogical that Ziggler's sleeper (long since ceased to be a finisher) took out Harper for over two minutes. Made no sense for Ziggler to recover from a Bull Hammer when Stardust and Truth didn't. starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 00:03, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't JBL, it was my own aging brain, but yeah, my bad. Looked nice, Barrett. I definitely remember getting pissed when Ziggler came back, fresh as a daisy. Then the Curb Stomp and RKO didn't work. Then the Pedigree and Scorpion Deathlock. Sister Abigail? Nope. Tombstone? Nope. Accolade, AA? Nope.
Maybe if kicking out finishers wasn't so damn easy, Reigns would've looked tough for all those F5s. But since it is, he just looked like another guy, but one who couldn't get in nearly as much offense. The commentators tried to fool me about that, but it didn't work either. InedibleHulk (talk) 03:53, March 31, 2015 (UTC)
  • @InedibleHulk: Hilarious that Reigns kicked out of the third F5 ... when the Undertaker didn't. I didn't see all those you mentioned, wasn't interested. Nikki's Rack Attack also didn't work, I read. But I concur. Finishers should be one and done. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Kazuchika Okada III, which had finisher kick-outs, was poorer than Tanahashi-Okada IV, which didn't. If an AA was kicked out of, why would Cena's diving leg drop bulldog result in the win? Further more, one finisher kick-out practically guarantees the other person kicking out too - case in point, the post-Mania Raw - Ambrose kicks out of an AA, so you know Cena will kick out of Dirty Deeds. starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 13:12, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

WrestleZone

Uh... I never used WrestleZone for that information regarding the logo on WrestleMania 31. Why are you blaming me for using it? TheMeaningOfBlah (talk) 14:51, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This was also accidental. Meant to change the URL, too. Thanks for catching it. InedibleHulk (talk) 15:18, March 30, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks and sorry

Thanks for your DYK review of Mark Hulbert. Unfortunately I didn't realize how complicated the process was so I had to withdraw. Apologies for the churn. I did fix most of the issues. SageGreenRider (talk) 11:52, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
