The story revolves around a small family of three people based in Delhi. Jay Pathak plays the character of Naman Verma (Nandu), [[Samiksha Bhatt]] plays the character of Naman’s wife Chandani and Gaurav Sharma plays the character of Naman’s younger brother Pushkar Verma (Pappu) in the show. Alok nath as Babuji helps Pappu with the flashbacks. Then Tanya, a Punjabi chocolaty shaded girl enters the show as Chandani's friend and a college student. Pappu gradually falls in love with tanya. There is another nadaan in this family named 'Bhagwaan Uncle'. He is verma family's neighbour who every time enjoys to interrupt in their matters. Then the story takes leap of 7 years. Then nandu and pappu's mother 'Taravanti Verma' whose character is played by [[Upasana Singh]]. She always use to taunts Chandu like a typical Indian mother-in-law. pappu and tanya gets Engaged.
