Yuriy Shatunov (Russian: Юрий Шатунов) (born 6 September 1973 in Kumertau, USSR) is a Russian singer, ex-soloist of the very popular Russian music group Laskoviy Mai.
He has wife named Svetlana and children: son named Dennis (b. 5 September 2006) and daughter named Estella (b. 13 March 2013).
Personality
Yuri was born September 6, 1973 in the Russia (USSR), in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan. Since the age of three he was raised by mother only. When he was eleven years old his mother died, and he was to live in an orphanage. He was ragamuffin, but he has had excellent hearing and voice and sang very well. Yuri met with Sergei Kuznetsov, who was a music teacher in the orphanage, and they created the group named "Laskoviy Mai" ("Tender May"). In this group the adolescents were singing about unfortunate love. This group existed from 1986 to 1992, and was very popular in Russia, and Yuri was the main soloist of this group. Then Yuri moved to the Germany and got married there. Yuri is busy a solo career and performs in Russia, Germany and other countries.
