Students from MAD school have been winning recognized advertising & design awards[7] like the prestigious D&AD, Crowbar Awards[8] & Captain Green awards over several years.

Partners
As early as 2003, the school has already partnered with the Institute of Advertising Singapore to run courses that will groom new talents into the advertising and design industry in Singapore. These accredited courses, which integrated Marketing + Advertising + Design skills, although are relevant to the creative industry but have never been seen in Asia at that time, was also featured as a pioneer in New Education by a program in new education by local TV station, Channel NewsAsia [10].
They have also partnered Inquirer.net, a media giant in Philippines, to run advertising related courses [11] in Manila to educate the media professionals in Philippines.
Contributions towards the local creative scene
With the establishment of sister company, social enterprise Make The Change, MAD students get a chance to participate in real live design and marketing related projects that are aimed at helping charity organizations and other social enterprise save cost on marketing expenses. These students are guided by industrial practitioners on a pro-bono basis to complete the various projects and are also able to add such projects into their portfolio. This was covered by local newspaper The Straits Times on 28 June 2015[12].
In 2014, MAD School also held the inaugural MAD About Singapore [13]competition and exhibition that aims to give recognition to the local photographers on instagram and also a chance for Singaporeans to show their love for Singapore on her 50th birthday in a few months's time. The competition was partially sponsored[14] by the SG50 committee & Olswang, and supported by various partners like Nikon, ION Orchard and InstaSG.
In 2015, the school also co-organised the first every design themed competition targeted at doing social good - Design For Good competition[15]. The competition aims to empower secondary school students to use design to help address certain social issues and the winners were eventually drafted in to work with non-profit organization WINGS to projects to help elderly women in Singapore.
