The last three releases on this list were not, as far as I can tell, released for purchase. If they were, I'd sure like to know where I can get one! Anyway, I think these last there entries belong as part of the live perforce section, but not as releases.--[[User:Blakestern|Blakestern]] ([[User talk:Blakestern|talk]]) 00:39, 12 December 2014 (UTC)

Correct, the last three releases were definitely not released for purchase. Even on the Cinematic Titanic website they say on the main page "twelve feature-length episodes available for sale" <ref>http://www.cinematictitanic.com/</ref>. Because of this I am deleting the last three releases listed in the DVD Release History. Notability

Article seems to relate to a commercial concern which has so far published one DVD. While the team's past activities are mentioned at length in MST3K articles, I am not certain that this limited (so far) venture is anything more than a commercial puff piece. Your thoughts please... PS, I am a fan, so please don't ball me out. Just tryin' to make sure the article is justifiable here under WP's guidelines. 86.157.139.140 (talk) 14:38, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say that it's notable enough, with a number of articles specifically discussing this project above and beyond the ones already used as refs, including this feature in PegasusNews.com, a piece from a Green Bay paper, and upwards of 49,000 Google hits. The article doesn't appear to be promotional from my view, and as there are articles on similar projects like RiffTrax, I don't think there's an issue here. Please keep in mind that I am trying to *establish* notability in the hope the article can stay. Google hits don't prove notability (just popularity), and the existence of RiffTrax means nothing just because they are similar (Britney and my aunt Valerie are both singers, but only one is notable...) Is there anything from a major third party source? 86.157.139.140 (talk) 07:55, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Italicize title

Since this isn't a TV series or other major work, but a project consisting of DVD releases and live presentations, it seems improper to italicize the title, and more improper for the article title to be italicized. I can't figure out how to remove the transcluded "italicize title" template, though. Any ideas? Robert K S (talk) 03:07, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Following up to report it was an issue with the film infobox, which has since been fixed. However, even the title in the film infobox should not be italicized. I think the appropriate solution would be to use a different kind of infobox for this article, since Cinematic Titanic is not, strictly speaking, a film. I replaced the film infobox with a standard infobox. Erik (talk | contribs) 18:46, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
