== Admin related question ==
I'm sorry for bothering you, but I have a particular question. Can an admin remove a ping? For instance I post on some talk page this tag [ [User:DrKay|DrKay] ] and thus pinging someone. Can an admin remove that ping from the notification area of the user I pinged? Can I or you as an other admin know somehow that my ping was removed? Movies & TV

this edit is abysmal! Not only WP:PTM is very clear about this, it gives hell to DabSolver operators. From my experience when someone links to "Bill & Melinda", he or she doesn't want a page about Bill and another about Melinda. Usually, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is intended. Re: Foreign Affairs article RMs

DrKiernan, my suggestion to hold off on RMs for six months was not an idle one. Please leave it alone for a while. Thanks --Mike Cline (talk) 14:43, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is nothing wrong with re-opening a discussion when new evidence is presented. DrKiernan (talk) 14:44, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Where is DrKiernan?

Is this a bona fide name change or a prankster's work? Qexigator (talk) 12:37, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ladsgroup is going around changing usernames. Something's gone haywire. GoodDay (talk) 12:47, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's bona fide. I've decided to simplify my name to something easier to spell. Nothing to worry about. DrKay (talk) 12:52, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

William of orange

You keep deleting my edit on the Irish Gaelic name of William of orange. I don't understand why it is you view my edit as unnecessary. William of orange was givin the name Uilliam an Oraiste mór by the Irish living in the west where the language was and still is much more widely spoken. I speak Irish as my first language myself and this is the name given to him whenever he is referred to commonly in our language. It translates as William the big orange and was used by us to poke fun at the name of a man who was oppressing the nation of Ireland especially its less English enthusiastic westerners Josef globalls (talk) 18:18, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am unable to find any sources using that phrase. Consequently, even if true it is insufficiently important to mention in the article. The article is a summary of the most important points only, the sort of thing that would be found in any encyclopedia. DrKay (talk) 18:32, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
