Jagtar Singh Hawara has been appointed as [[Akal takht]] sahib's Jathedar by some Sikh radical groups in a public meeting but this appointment has not been recognized by [[SGPC]] and SGPC strictly against this appointment and strongly condemns it. According to SGPC, only SGPC could appoint Jathedars for Takhts and as SGPC is a elected body only SGPC has such rights. |
