Crevis is an indie game written in Game Maker: Studio and is currently being produced by the game development team by the name of Sour Apple Studios. Crevis is set in a 2D randomly generated solar system in which the player must survive. The player will face multiple threats that include the variety of enemies in the game. Crevis is in very early alpha stages and is available for download for Windows.

Synopsis

Crevis begins by prompting you for your username, allowing you to choose whatever you please, and then brings you straight into the game. In its current alpha stages, the world is completely flat and made of blocks. From there, you must perform commands in the chat to obtain blocks so that you may build.

Gameplay

Current features

Currently, Crevis allows you to build whatever you please with an assortment of kits that are obtained through executing a command in the Crevis chat. These kits give the player an assortment of building materials, including furniture, blocks, and many more items.

Future additions

The developer has stated that Crevis will eventually be a survival game set in a landscape that is not flat but is varying in height, with an assortment of caves and other natural aspects that would be randomly generated.

Playable Races

Crevis plans to have five playable races (the Uelian, Meteri, Traiad, Human, and Lizman) by the time of its release in 2016. In its current alpha stage, the only playable race is the Traiad.

Development

Crevis has been in development since late 2013 and was aiming for a release in 2014, which was later pushed to 2015, and then finally pushed to 2016, which was claimed as the final release date. Crevis Alpha, also known as Crevis Building Snapshot (C:BS) was released on November 27th, 2015[1]
