Alessandro Taini (also known under the pseudonym Talexi) is an art director, concept artist, and illustrator. He is best known for his work with Ninja Theory where he has worked on the games Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, DmC: Devil May Cry, and Hellblade. Taini is also the illustrator for the fantasy book series Throne of Glass and Spook's Series.

Taini was born in Genoa, Italy in 1973. He studied Illustration and Advertising at the School of Visual Communications in Genoa, and began working in advertising upon graduation.[1]

Taini joined Ninja Theory in 2003 and worked as a senior concept artist for Heavenly Sword.[3] He is credited with creating several iconic characters of the game which were later used in the 2007 film of same name.[4] Characters include Nariko (Anna Torv), Kai (Ashleigh Ball), and King Bohan (Andy Serkis). Taini also worked on Enslaved: Odyssey to the West,[5] a 2010 game based on Monkey, the abridged translation of the novel Journey to the West. He designed the characters Monkey, Trip, and Pigsy for the 2010 game release.[6]
