Why did you undo what I did? The history should begin either with the first people who settled in the area, or mention prehistoric peoples who preceded them. After all, some mound builders were [[Briscoe Mounds|active in Will County]] before the French came around. It's silly to say that the very first people in the area were Indians contemporaneous with the first explorers. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. CatcherStorm talk 07:22, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Twinkle

I'd highly suggest activating and using the Twinkle gadget on a regular basis before requesting rollback. In your situation, it'd help greatly with fighting vandalism because it makes the process of reverting edits and placing user warning templates semi-automated. It also includes its own rollback tool which you can use. Once you have become proficient with Twinkle, then I'd suggest that you move on to request rollback so you can use more advanced tools like Huggle and STiki. But for now, try Twinkle out. Looks like you haven't yet. CatcherStorm talk 07:28, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
