Contents

Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment is a China-based multinational particle physics project to study elementary particles known as neutrinos. The experiment studies Neutrino oscillation and is designed to measure the mixing angle q13 using antineutrino produced by the reactors of the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and the Ling Ao Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). Scientists are interested in whether or not neutrinos are CP violators.

It is situated at Daya Bay China lat 22.6012629684, lon 114.555955825 approximately 52 kilometers north of Hong Kong, and 45 kilometers to the east of Shenzhen.
