Jon Luvelli (20 February 1979) is an Italian American documentary and street photographer based out of Columbia, Missouri. Luvelli is best known for his candid photographs of people in rural areas of the United States. [1] He mostly shoots in black and white emphasizing composition, perspective and contrast. His photographic style is easily distinguished by the romantically raw subject matter and macabre atmosphere in his pieces. [2]
He describes himself as a "fine art documentarian", a mixture of street, fine art and documentary photography." [3]
In 2016, three of Luvelli's never released photographs were selected to be a part of Walters-Boone Historical Museum permanent art collection [4] Luvelli is the first street photographer to be permanently inducted in Walters-Boone Historical Museum. [5]

Luvelli appeared on the television shows The Young Riders in 1992, Billy the Kid in 1991 and Days of Our Lives in 1991.
