Chennai 2 Singapore is an upcoming Tamil film written and directed by Abbas Akbar, featuring Gokul Anand, Anju Kurian and Rajesh Balachandiran in the lead roles.[1] The film has six songs composed by music director Ghibran. The film is produced by the Media Development Authority, Singapore .[2][3]
Plot
A crazy action romantic comedy story about a struggling filmmaker Harish, who makes his way to Singapore for investors who could finance his dream movie but everything goes wrong upon his arrival there.
However with the help of Vaanampaadi, an eccentric cameraman, Harish almost realises his dream when he meets a beautiful girl called Roshini and falls in immense love. Production
"Chennai2Singapore" is the debut venture of Comicbook Films India Private Limited, an indian film division backed by Singapore based TV Production giant - Comicbook Singapore Private Limited. Financed Media Development Authority. The production started on October 2015 and is expected to wind up by April 2016. Majority of the portions were canned in Singapore and the rest in Chennai.
Soundtrack
Ghibran has composed six peppy numbers for the movie and his announcement to reinvent a audio launch turned heads in the film industry. He will drive from Chennai to Singapore by road to launch one song per country. This drive will be a global impact and the media fraternity is charged up to make this innovative approach a grand success. Guinness World Records has taken notice of this audio drive as it is a first of its kind in the indian cinema history. The entire lead crew will be a part of this audio drive. Fan fare not only in Tamil Nadu but also in Malaysia and Singapore are eagerly waiting for this audio drive.
