The Journal of Innovation in Health Informatics is a peer-reviewed open-access medical journal that accepts articles covering advances in medical informatics. History

The journal was established in 1995 as Informatics in Primary Care until the name was changed in 2015 to reflect its broader scope. The journal's new name was announced in 2015, for more details see: Journal of Innovation in Health Informatics: building on the 20-year history of a BCS Health peer review journal.
