Oakdale Community Hospital in 2008.

Oakdale Community Hospital, located in Oakdale, Caerphilly, Wales, provided 20 beds including 2 Macmillan beds for palliative care prior to its closure in 2011. There was also a service for respite and continuing care patients.

The hospital was opened in 1915, and was a part of the planned Oakdale village which had started around 1911.

Oakdale Hospital was closed when the new Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr was opened at Ystrad Mynach in November 2011.[1]
