Duplicated scenes do exist

Both in the same city and across cities and countries. For some architects it economical to reproduce an already built building than to elaborate a new plan. And architectonical plans and city areas can be reproduced with the purpose of deceiving people into believing they are in a delusional world. In NYC it is common to hear references of being in Shanghai instead, with people mischievously adding to the effect with commentaries and explaining away proof that the city can only be NYC.
