I am looking at an Angolan government document from 2005 which makes reference to Kwanza Norte, rather than Cuanza Norte. (Likewise, it refers to Kwanza Sul and K. Kubango [for Cuando Cubango].) I don't speak Portuguese, nor am I well versed in Angolan geography and/or politics. Anyone know whether one, the other, or both spellings are considered correct? Spelling: Cuanza or Kwanza?

I am looking at an Angolan government document from 2005 which makes reference to Kwanza Norte, rather than Cuanza Norte. (Likewise, it refers to Kwanza Sul and K. Kubango [for Cuando Cubango].) I don't speak Portuguese, nor am I well versed in Angolan geography and/or politics. Anyone know whether one, the other, or both spellings are considered correct?
