Claiming science, involving pizeo-electric (sic) effects to modify L-Field to make people 'better'. Something wrapped up with 'Myofascial Release' somehow. Although the previous comment considers this quackery, more research is being done to the emerging science research in Biofield as opposed to the previous term. Many hospitals, research centers and rehab facilities are using a variety of modalities that impact the biofield to assist the body in healing itself.

Reiki, yoga and meditation are just a few of the modalities. Eastern medicine is now more accepting of alternative methods that compliment their own healing methods. Research is also a key component of this acceptance. You can search out a plethora of research to both support and negate these modalities. I personally am a supporter of these options to assist in getting one's body to a better place where it can heal itself of much its issues. After all, our bodies function in a manner that when in good shape, can heal itself of many challenges from a cold and cut to much more.

A quick check seems to indicate that this concept is not longer in use in academic science. So the original content of the article, temporarily forming the section "Details" should get some qualification, who uses the concept. Also the history of the theory should be detailled. --Pjacobi 07:18, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, specific information on the claims that were made against Burr's interpretations should be shown. Stevenwagner 17:33, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The original concept has been validated and enhanced by the research of Dr Rupert Sheldrake and Dr Robert Becker [1] Jennylen 16:48, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have revised this page to stick more closely to Burr's work. Redheylin (talk) 02:00, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
