The Churchville-Chili Central School District (CCCSD) is a public school district in Monroe County, New York, near Rochester. It serves approximately 4,250 students[3] in grades K through 12 from the towns of Chili, Ogden and Riga, and from the village of Churchville with 906 employees[4] and an operating budget of $68,755,030[2] (~$16,189 per student).

The average class size is 19-24 students and the student-teacher ratio is 11:1 (elementary), 12:1 (middle-high school).[5]

Lori Orologio was appointed as Churchville-Chili's Superintendant by the Board of Education. Orologio had been the assistant superintendent for instruction at the district since 2005.[citation needed]

Board of education

The Board of Education (BOE) consists of nine members. Members serve rotating three-year terms. Elections are held each May for board members and to vote on the school district budget.

Student performance

In 2008, 84% of fourth graders and 61% of eighth graders met or exceeded New York State reading standards. 89% of fourth graders and 87% of eighth graders met or exceeded math standards. 90% of students graduated with a high school diploma, meeting the statewide standard of 55%.[3]
