The Balkan endemic plants includes a number of unique taxons and (species, subspecies, variety and forms) that are widespread in a variety of sizes area and, including stenoendemics.

The next review of endemic plants on the Balkans includes all known taxa of these categories, from Greek (including Pindus mountain system), Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia. Northeast border goes mainly along the valley of the river Sava and continues along the Danube and including most of the Bulgaria, and to the southeast to the European part of Turkey.
