Personnel assigned as Maritime Enforcement Specialist of the United States Coast Guard are trained to perform security and law enforcement support. [1] Personnel must meet specific minimum requirements before becoming a Maritime Enforcement Specialist, and perform similar duties to that of United States Army and United States Marine Corps Military Police, United States Navy Master-at-Arms, and United States Air Force Security Forces personnel.
