John Heffernan is an Irish retired sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Nenagh Éire Óg in Tipperary, and was a member of the Tipperary senior inter-county team in the late 80's. Heffernan won an All-Ireland winners' medal in 1989 and three Munster winners' medals in 1987, 1988, and 1989.[1] He also won a National Hurling League title in 1988.[2]
