Gayathri Venkataraghavan is an Indian Carnatic vocalist.[1][2]
Education
She trained in Carnatic music at an early age under Smt. Rajalakshmi and then under Smt. Padma Veeraraghavan, a disciple of Palaghat Sri K.V. Narayanaswamy. She trained in various kritis with Smt. Rukmini Ramani, Sri. V. Subramaniam and Smt. Lakshmi Natarajan. Her advanced training was under Acharya Choodamani Sri. A. Sundaresan, a disciple of Sri C. V. Krishnamurthy Iyer, Sri Ramnad Krishnan and Alathur Sri Sivasubramanya Iyer. Gayathri is now under the guidance of Padma Bhushan Sri. P.S.Narayanaswamy.
Performances
Venkataraghavan is an 'A' top grade accredited artist of All India Radio. She won the All India Radio National level competition in 1993. Her AIR performances include a National Broadcast in 2006. She has sung various themes for Archival purposes for AIR.
She performs across India. Her appearances abroad include the Cleveland Tyagaraja Festival 2005, 2008, 2011, at Ohio and Toronto. She performed at the SIFA annual festival at Singapore in Feb 2007. She toured the United States and Canada in September and October 2007.

Her commercial albums have been released by Charsur Digital Workstation and other companies.
