Fable 2 is a video game sequel for the Xbox 360.

The game has been officially announced by Lionhead Studios, the parent company of Big Blue Box developers, it is speculated for a late 2007 release and was announced during Microsoft's press conference at E3. No storyline summary has been released as of yet.

From the E3 trailer, it can be gathered that the game will take place in Albion, but 500 years later (according to PC Gamer UK Magazine), taking on a colonial theme, rather than medieval. This is evident in the way the characters in the trailer dress, and also in the fact that early firearms were seen briefly in several scenes. Peter Molyneux has given some hints, during an interview on G4 that Fable 2 will most likely have a multiplayer component.

Following the mixed reviews of Fable, many fans are hoping the sequel will take a more open-ended approach to the story and quests than the original.
