Dentistry is not well understood outside of the dental profession. I'm interested in improving how we communicate information on dental health and dentistry, as well as dental problems, their prevention and treatment and how public health measures can reduce the burden of oral disease. I am Professor of Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK. My main interests are children's dentistry, cariology (study of dental decay) and clinical trial research into how we can make dental treatment better for children (and adults). I carry out systematic reviews, including Cochrane Reviews and I teach Evidence Based Dentistry as well as Children's Dentistry.

I'd be delighted to collaborate with anyone interested in bringing dentistry in Wikipedia up to date!
