Born Camilla Crociani in [[Rome]], she is the daughter of Italian industrialist [[Camillo Crociani]] and his wife [[Edy Vessel|Edoarda]] "Edy" Vessel Crociani, an Italian actress. Princess Camilla was educated at [[Marymount High School]] before attending [[New York University]]. She has business interests around the world. She was previously active in equestrian sports. She is fluent in Italian, French, English, Spanish and Japanese.
